Who this suits

  • Founders and companies building a SaaS product or custom web application.
  • Teams replacing spreadsheets or manual work with a portal or dashboard.
  • Mobile products that need an API, a back end and an admin panel.
  • Businesses that need a new or redesigned company website.

What we take on

From the system that runs the business to the website that wins its customers.

  1. Custom web applications

Software people sign in to and work in — bookings, orders, records, approvals — built around how your business actually runs.

  2. SaaS products

Multi-user products sold by subscription: accounts and roles, the core workflows, dashboards, and the admin side your team runs it from.

  3. Customer portals and admin dashboards

Self-service portals for your customers and internal tools for your team, built on the data you already have.

  4. Front end and back end

The interface people use and the server, database and business logic behind it, built by one team so the two fit together.

  5. APIs and integrations

The APIs behind web and mobile apps, and connections to the systems you already use, documented so other teams can build on them.

  6. Business websites

Fast, accessible company websites that explain what you do and bring in enquiries, with content you can update.

  7. Redesigns and migrations

A new design or platform, planned so existing content and links carry over and the search visibility you have earned is protected as far as possible.

  8. Support and maintenance

Security updates, fixes, hosting changes and new features after launch.

Choosing the build

Website, web app or both?

A useful first question is what the site has to do for its visitors. These are the usual starting points.

Business website
When the job is to explain your offer, earn trust and turn visitors into enquiries. Content and speed matter most.
Web application
When people sign in to get work done — book, buy, track, manage or collaborate. Data, roles and reliability matter most.
Portal on existing systems
When the data already lives in your ERP, CRM or database and customers or staff need a safer, simpler way to use it.
API for a mobile app
When an app needs accounts, content and data from a server, and often an admin panel to manage them.

A website fix, kept informed throughout

They fixed my site, which was having issues, and communicated everything with me as they did it. It is the start of a long-term relationship, and I recommend them.

How an engagement runs

  1. You tell us what you need and what exists today.
  2. We agree a written scope, or a dedicated team, with you.
  3. We build in short cycles you review, then release and support.

Questions

Before you get in touch

Do you build SaaS products and custom web applications?

Yes. One of our published case studies is an online learning and education SaaS platform we designed and developed for a confidential client in 2019 — the user experience, the interface and the SaaS web application itself. We build custom web applications, portals and dashboards in the same way, from the first workflow to support after launch.

Can we hire web application developers rather than outsource a project?

Yes. React, Node.js and full-stack web developers can work inside your team, tools and process as dedicated developers. Our Dedicated developers page explains how that works.

Do you build business websites as well as web applications?

Yes. We build company websites as well as the larger web applications, portals and APIs behind products. The first conversation is about what the site needs to do, which decides the right build.

Will a redesign affect our search rankings?

It can. Any redesign or migration changes what search engines see, and rankings may move for a while; no one can guarantee them. We reduce the risk: we list the existing pages and links, redirect each changed address to its closest new page, carry over titles and content that already perform where they still fit, and check for crawl errors after launch.

Can you build a customer portal or admin dashboard on our existing data?

Usually. We first look at where the data lives and how it can be reached safely, then propose what the portal or dashboard can do.

Do you build APIs and back ends for mobile apps?

Yes. Our web developers build the APIs, databases and admin panels that mobile apps rely on, together with our mobile teams.

Do you offer support and maintenance after launch?

Yes. We can keep the site or application updated, secure and improving after launch, as an ongoing arrangement agreed with you.
