Palace Kitchen Merge Game

A merge-2 cooking game with a palace-kitchen storyline

Two matching items on the board merge into a better one — tea leaves into a teapot, small cakes into a festive platter. Characters around the kitchen place orders, and filling them moves a story forward and opens new areas of the palace grounds.

Representative artwork: three palace cooks in pale green robes work at a long wooden table in a sunlit traditional kitchen — folding dumplings, arranging layered rice cakes on a lacquered tray and ladling soup — with clay pots, steam and a blossoming tree outside

Scope The publisher runs the game and its store presence. To keep the client confidential, the game's name is withheld and every image on this page is new artwork recreated for this portfolio, not a screenshot of the delivered game.
