Bedtime Nursery Rhymes App
Classic nursery rhymes with complete lyrics and their origins, for bedtime
The client wanted a practical digital companion for bedtime songs: a collection of classic nursery rhymes that is always to hand, more convenient than a book. Our team developed the iPhone app — complete lyrics for every rhyme, a soft design that works in dim light, and the origins and anecdotes behind selected rhymes.

The product
What it does, and for whom
Parents often remember only the first verse of a rhyme. The app keeps every verse, opens any rhyme from a contents list or picks one at random, and adds a short history to selected rhymes — a gentle, informative resource for a calm bedtime routine. The app's content is in French.
Scope The rhyme collection, illustrations and texts are the client's. Our work was the mobile app. To keep the client confidential, the screens on this page are recreated from the delivered app with neutral naming, simple original illustrations and traditional public-domain rhymes as example content.

Inside the app
A contents list of rhymes
The rhymes are listed with a small illustration, the title and the opening line. Some open straight away; others show a lock. A round button at the bottom picks a rhyme at random, and an information button leads to the about page.
Full lyrics and the story behind them
Each rhyme opens with an illustration and its complete lyrics, chorus in italics. For selected rhymes a second page tells where the song comes from, with dates and anecdotes.
Random rhyme
On every rhyme the large centre button jumps to another rhyme at random. A smaller button on the right shows a play or stop symbol.
About these images: the screens are recreated from the delivered app for this case study, with neutral naming in place of the client's brand, simple original illustrations, and traditional public-domain rhymes as example content. They follow the app's real screens and functions, but they are not screenshots of it.
